Around the Chapters

On Tuesday 26th October the NSW Chapter hosted its final Breakfast Seminar for 2011.

The final seminar was a panel discussion on "Young Security Professionals: The Next Generation".

Our Panelists included:

Our moderator was Graeme Polley, CPP, Regional VP for ASIS International

This is a particular important subject matter and both the Panel and the attendees earnestly discussed the issues around how to assist young professionals to come up through the ranks; the role of education; the role of mentoring young people; the state of regulation and certification. Attendees and the Panel have walked away with a understanding of how ASIS NSW can assist young professionals and this the Chapter will follow through on in 2011.
