The NSW Chapter hosted the premier ASIS in Australia event.

The NSW Chapter hosted its annual Half-Day Conference and Luncheon on Tuesday 5th July. This event is the highlight of the ASIS in Australia calendar and once again a very successful conference was hosted and enjoyed by all participants.

Our Conference theme this year was "Security - Taking the Lead in Crisis". Four high calibre speakers presented on the subject of the security function and crisis management. Our speakers presented real world examples of the level of maturity attained by the senior security manager in making critical business decisions in crisis management. There was consensus that the role of the security manager has been enhanced by managing the organisation's crisis function.
